Who We Help

Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO)

Founded in March of 2008, Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) offers educational programs to children living in the refugee camps of Nablus, West Bank. With an emphasis on English, mathematics, the arts and computer skills, TYO’s staff instructs children and adults, while also training local university students in children’s education. In a part of the world where over 50% of the population is under the age of 25 and higher education can seem unreachable, TYO equips young people with the necessary skills to become leaders in their communities and pass on the values of a well-rounded education to future generations.

TYO’s program focuses primarily on early childhood education; however, the opportunities TYO provides reach beyond the classroom. TYO is dedicated to training young men and women from An Najah and other local universities in leadership skills and children’s education, while also offering cultural and recreational programs to the city’s families and broader community.

As a Clinton Global Initiative Commitment, TYO has already touched the lives of hundreds of families in Nablus, offering a safe, welcoming place to learn, think and play in a poverty-stricken and often war-torn region. With help from organizations like Students of the World and from your charitable donations, TYO hopes to expand its commitment to scholarship and community by opening new centers throughout the Middle East.
