Teach a Man to Fish (TAMTF)
Location: Bolivia
In May 2008, four New York City students journeyed to an agricultural school outside of Villamontes, Bolivia. There, Teach a Man to Fish is in the process of implementing the education that pays for itself model, which allows local students to fund their schooling by selling their produce.

Committee for Democracy in Information Technology (CDI)
Location: Brazil
Six Duke students and one alumnus traveled to Brazil in May 2008 to capture the work of CDI, an organization that teaches citizens in vulnerable areas to use information technology. Their schools stimulate learning and communication while encouraging the students to use their new skills to give back to their communities.
Brown University
Lighting a Billion Lives (LaBL)
Location: India
Six Brown students traveled to India in June 2008 to document the communities where the Lighting a Billion Lives campaign provides solar-powered lighting to increase educational opportunity and foster entrepreneurial endeavors.
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW)
Location: Kenya

In May 2008, five University of Michigan students traveled to Kenya, one of many countries where Procter & Gamble’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water program works. The students’ goal is to document this work and use this media to bring attention to the clean water crisis and promote the work of Children’s Safe Drinking Water and their many partners.

Center for the Adolescents of San Miguel de Allende (CASA)
Location: Mexico
Six UNC students went to Mexico in May 2008 to document CASA’s midwifery programs to capture how CASA approaches the task of improving the health of mothers and their children.
The University of Texas at Austin
Fundación Paraguaya (FP)
Location: Paraguay
The seven-member team from The University of Texas traveled to Paraguay in May 2008 to spend a month documenting Fundación Paraguaya’s self-sufficient, organic agricultural school in the Chaco region.
