In May 2009, five students from Columbia University are going to Kenya to document the work of Global Give Back Circle (GGBC), operating in Nairobi. GGBC is building a support system for thirty-five young Kenyan women, ultimately helping them use their high school education to land lucrative jobs or further their education by going to college.

Today we spent the day at another school in Nairobi that GGBC is helping girls from: Blessed Generation. We arrived there in the morning and toured the school, filming establishing shots of the space and classrooms, children, etc. We conducted some interviews and then had a hearty meal before heading back towards the city center for some errand-running (i.e. supermarket and internet café).
