Today, we travelled back to Nairobi from Salabwek. The car ride was much shorter than I thought it would be—with about three stops (for souvenir shopping, bank needs, to see the Rift Valley, etc.) we made it in about 4 hours. We went to a shopping center where everyone checked their internet for the first time in TWO WEEKS! And, we ate at a wonderful chain-restaurant called Java House. It’s sort of like the Starbucks of Nairobi. It was delicious—and a nice vibe inside too.
After running errands in and enjoying Nairobi, we made it back to Starehe around 5pm. It was nice to see the girls again after two weeks. We spent time chatting with them and then eating dinner.
