Team Members - Bangladesh

Caitlyn Greene is a sophomore multimedia journalism major with minors in business administration and Spanish. Whether she chooses a business- or journalism-based career or one that incorporates the two, she will use her education to promote cultural exchange and sustainable growth. She is currently especially interested in the power of photography and it's potential to create change.

Tarik Yassien is a junior double majoring in Political Science and International Studies with a focus on the Middle East. His main interests are in traveling the world and the promotion of social justice. After graduation he plans on spending a year or two volunteering in Egypt and exploring the surrounding countries before returning home to continue his studies in graduate school. Tarik would ultimately like to work in a position with influence on foreign policy decisions regarding the Middle East.

Griffin Kenemer is a junior majoring in Communication - Media Productions with an Electronic Journalism minor. Griffin loves to work with people and hopes to pursue a career in documentary work to tell their stories. He has a passion for non-profits, world travels and all things adventurous. Griffin was lucky enough to study abroad in Florence, Italy and travel through much of Europe, but can't wait to get back out in the world with his backpack and camera.

Sarah Riazati is a sophomore Multimedia and Graphics major in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications from Marietta, Georgia. She spent last summer working at the North Carolina Health Careers Access Program as a communications intern, where her responsibilities included taking pictures, working on the Web site and designing promotional materials. She also studies Arabic, and she would like to travel around the Middle East doing documentary multimedia projects about community life after graduation.

Abbey Caldwell is a junior from Charlotte, NC double majoring in journalism and mass communication (news-editorial) and international studies. She is interested in using journalism as a way to understand different people and cultures, using their stories and ideas to incite change. Abbey believes that everybody has a story to tell, and she is committed to helping them do so.
