Team Members - Paraguay

Fatima is majoring in film with a focus on documentary production. She started off as a photographer but liked moving pictures better. She is trying to learn the banjo and the harmonica and will likely be practicing the latter during the trip. She is excited to eat what she grows.

Lan majors in film and psychology, but her main concentration is in filmmaking. In the past year, she has been involved with narratives as well as documentaries. She has enjoyed two international experiences making both narrative and documentary films and hopes that more will come.

Jamie is a junior majoring in Plan II Honors and women and gender studies with a concentration in social entrepreneurship and nonprofits. She has written for several newspapers and is really excited about being a part of See Change.

Elizabeth is double majoring in English and photojournalism. Last year she traveled to Thailand with SOW. This year she was a photographer for The Daily Texan. Next year holds much in store.

Alex is in the Plan II program, with a concentration in environmental studies. He is currently writing his thesis on sustainable agriculture and looks forward to gaining hands-on experience in the Peace Corps.

Megan is majoring in photojournalism with a concentration in social entrepreneurship and nonprofits. This is Megan's first time out of the country but definitely not her last.

Chris studies Latin America and the history of international development. He is involved in the Austin cooperative movement and has interests in journalism, documentaries and traveling. Chris is excited to have such a wonderful team to work with - it makes him sad to think that he might ever graduate.
