Goal: Enable midwives to assess fetus health in remote communities

Six UNC students went to Mexico in May 2008 to document CASA’s midwifery programs to capture how CASA approaches the task of improving the health of mothers and their children.

Graduation

Graduation day: speeches, gowns, and tassels. Most of us have had some experience of the sort. However, I would not do justice to the graduation at CASA by describing these things seen at nearly every graduation. Sure, there were flowers, pomp, and circumstance, but something much more profound underlay the entire occasion.
