Team Goal: $20,000
One of the reasons CDI schools are successful and innovative is because anyone can participate, regardless of whether or not they can pay the small cost of attendance. However, there is still an organizational cost to put each student through the CDI curriculum. Roughly $80 per year – depending on region. This cost represents the instructor training, capacity building, and program infrastructure integral to a school’s success.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for CDI schools in the three regions of Brazil we documented. These funds will not only provide the necessary services for CDI schools in the coming year, but will set-up these schools for success in years to come.
You can give any amount that you desire – and if you so choose, can pay the program cost of one CDI student in one of the three areas where we worked. For a student in Rio de Janeiro, the program cost is $70 per student. In Salvador, cost per student is $75. In Belém the cost is $80. Entering one of these amounts in the field above will allow your funds to go directly to the corresponding area.
All donations to CDI are tax-deductible. See Change does not take a percentage of funds raised: 100 percent of donations go directly to CDI Brazil.
When our goal is reached, you will be able to follow the impact of your donation on See Change as schools in all three regions receive and implement these funds.
