Teach a Man to Fish (TAMTF)
Team Goal: $7,000
Our goal is to raise $7,000 toward the cost of CEAAT becoming financially sustainable. These funds will allow Teach A Man To Fish to establish a small-scale poultry project and tree nursery on the CEAAT campus in Bolivia. These two school businesses would not only provide a platform for developing students’ skills & entrepreneurship, but should create enough extra income for the school to fund 15 student places every year.
To better understand how your donation will support Teach A Man To Fish:
- $50 pays for enough seed to grow 350 ornamental tree seedlings, which will in turn pay for five students’ study materials every year.
- $100 pays for the purchase and upkeep of 20 egg-laying chickens and generates enough income to pay a teacher’s salary for one month every year.
- $250 pays for 1000 citrus tree cuttings to be grown and sold, generating enough income to pay for the entire costs of 2 student places every year.
You can give any amount that you desire. See Change does not take a percentage of funds raised: 100 percent of donations go directly to the Teach A Man To Fish school in Bolivia.
When our goal is reached, you can watch – on See Change – as Teach A Man To Fish implements these funds in Bolivia.
